We often keep leftovers for a week. After a week I don't feed them to the kid, but will eat them myself.

Wow - some people keep stuff for a long. I toss or freeze meat leftovers after 3 days unless it is super salty, like ham.

In my world, I would consider it ediable for around a week. But the taste can change, so I may toss it sooner if I take a bite and don't like it.

I have the same policy. DH disagrees so he won't eat the stuff but I will.

I usually expect 5-7 days for cooked meat. If it smells funny or the texture seems "off" (slimy, whatever) I toss it.

I'm not sure how cold the fridge is - it's a samsung and the bar is lot exactly halfway between "cold" and "coldest". I referenced the manual to see exactly what temp 4 bars would be and it didn't say. Kind of annoying.

If it smells like feet, toss it.

It entirely depends on how cold the temperature inside your fridge is. I have used fully cooked chicken for up to 2 weeks, and that is because I keep my fridge at very cold temps.

* pan cooked not fried if that makes a difference

Cooked chicken tenders on Monday night and cut them up for salads this week. Is it ok to use through Friday?
