I'm gay and I've never put on a pair of men's boots.

Definitely gay. All your hopes for grandchildren are riding on the daughter now. Better start talking up the idea of babies with her.

I don't think it's appropriate or wise to ask him. My older son never would have done this. I think most 14 year old boys would not do this. That's why I wonder if he's trying to tell me something related to his sexuality.

PP... Crossdresser, maybe? Could be TransGender?

OP, did he use pantyhose while trying on the shoes?
Any open toe heels?

You're hilarious OP.
Why do you think we could offer you insightful advice? You know your own kid best.

I would say your child was rude to try on articles of clothing in a store of he wasn't seriously thinking of buying them.

All of this, but, I think most gay men are not interested in women's clothes. All gay men are not drag queens and all drag queens are not gay. Now for your real question: Is he a cross dresser? And the answer: Probably not, but I don't know him. Time will tell.

For a fourteen year old boy, I'd say he's likely gay.

We were in a department store looking for sensible shoes for my older daughter. She started trying on completely ridiculous, ugly, and expensive high heels. Then my younger daughter started trying them on too. Are they trying to tell me that they want me to buy them completely ridiculous, ugly, and expensive high heels?

ASK HIM!

How would we know?

I wouldn't give it a second thought.

I don't think he was trying to tell you anything other than he's bored while you shop.

We were in a department store looking for tall boots for my teenage daughter. My 14 year old son started trying on various women's boots and walking around in them. Is he trying to tell me he is gay? Was he just being silly? He has once tried on bracelets at a women's clothing store while he was waiting for his sister. Any thoughts?
