The costliest ikea down duvets are excellent -- the one with the higher ratio of down to feathers (comes in 2 weights).

Truly as good as anything on the market, including ll bean and company store.

I suppose you could do better with yves delorme, but I sense that's not the price point we are discussing here.

Another positive vote for IKEA comforters. I probably wouldn't buy a comforter from anywhere else. The value & the quality are great.

I'm sorry I don't remember the name but it was one of their mid-priced ones.

I'm happy with my comforter. I forget what I got at Ikea, but I think it was maybe a 2 or 3 on the warmth rating-- nice for layering with a blanket in winter, by itself in summer.

I have an IKEA comforter that's still going strong after 3 years. Great value for the price.

It's the layout. Just like the grocery store, the layout is designed to make you want to buy more stuff.

Ikea duvets are the best! Really nice quality and an absolute steal for the price. Like a PP said, we bought the most expensive one but without down filling (allergies). It's the Rodtoppa I think.

Dislike their linens, but have no issue with their top price pillows and duvets.

I just have a cheap one for my son's bed and it's great because I can throw it in the wash.

I have some store credit there to use towards a comforter. If you have one, would you recommend it?
