I also use my scale to weigh stuff before I freeze it. If I'm portioning chicken breasts or pork chops, for example, I will note the weight on the outside of the package, or when I'm dividing and freezing a bunch of ground meat.

For baking, weight is the norm. I'd be surprised to find a recipe on this site that's in volume: http://www.thefreshloaf.com


For cooking, I'd lean towards European blogs (even UK, like Jamie Oliver). Much more common to use weight on certain ingredients there.

I received a kitchen scale for Christmas and was excited to try it out, but I've realized most of the cooking blogs I follow don't provide measurements by weight. Could anyone point me to websites that provide measurements by weight for their recipes consistently? King Arthur Flour does, but that's all I've found so far.
