For PreK 4 - did our IB and a select # of schools that are on our commute path.

This is OP. I could do drop off but not pickup and spouse couldn't do pickup either. Job is not near any schools.

I am using one slot. We love our IB school and our 4-year old is IB with sibling so there is no chance we won't get in.

I filled out the bottom with schools that I could maybe possibly tolerate. Just to keep my opions open. You never know-- maybe a school will get a new principal, roll out a new program, maybe I will like the school more if I look at it more closely, maybe my daycare will have some kind of problem, etc. etc. It's 9 months between then and now, things can change.

I think it really depends on your IB school. Is it a guarantee for the grade you're applying, and how many schools would you prefer over your IB? And how far would you drive?

This is OP. It's not a guarantee at all. We are IB for Peabody. I think any school has to be walkable because our nanny doesn't drive.

I would say that you fill out the bottom spots with schools that you would be OK sending your kid to. Even if you re apply next year.

We live on the Hill and I am having a really hard time coming up with more than 7 schools to lottery for. This is PK3. Should I just leave the rest blank? Seems like a waste.
