silicone caulk or adhesive

The plastic strip that "seals" our frameless shower door shut to prevent leaking (and also serves as a guard from the glass hitting the shower tile when it closes) loosened and eventually fell off. The plastic strip itself seems in fine condition, so I'm thinking we can just reattach it to the wall where it originally was, right? What sort of adhesive should we use to do this?
