When I was younger I would never do these types of things. The older I get the less I care what people think and the more I care about getting value for the money I spend.
I confess I was too chicken to do it myself and made DH do it. I know my mom is always finding mistakes on the grocery store receipts where she has been overcharged and she brings it to their attention. She actually told me to try washing the meat off and thought it was because it was in the packaging too long, and how her parents would let meat sit out and age. I wouldn't have tried that because it just seems gross but I wonder if they will cut off the bad part and try to resell it in smaller pieces. Shudder.
Can they do that? Is that a health code violation?

It was full but when it gets full actually food tends to freeze in the back. So I doubt it wasn't cold enough.
