I should add, having 1 or more follicles is always promising. The next step is getting a good sized, mature follicle(s) for the IUI.

If you are doing an unmedicated IUI, you only release one egg. Even with a medicated cycle, they only want 2-3 eggs (usually). Any more than that, and they'll cancel the IUI. So a high number could hurt you, actually, if you are doing a medicated cycle and are overstimulated. If this were an IVF cycle, that would be a totally different story.

Thanks. Is it promising that I have 32 follicles?

Yes. Don't expect the first cycle to work. IUIs are tricky (timing, meds, etc.), and some clinics, such as mine, aren't that concerned with their success. They want everyone to do IVF. Most people need to do more than one before they find success.

I had 15 follicles on one side and 17 on the other. I've temped and know I ovulate. Starting iui soon. Any recommendations or anything I should consider?
