I just made the one from Smitten Kitchen. I'm thinking of posting the result on Pinterest Fails. It didn't look pretty but it was tasty! She uses strong coffee in her recipe.

I want to make a buche de noel for Christmas that has a chocolate cake, chocolate mousse filling, and chocolate frosting. I usually google recipes and decide based on the reviews and comments, but I'm not finding exactly what I'm looking for here. I'm fine with combining one element from one recipe and one from another, if they are recommended. Also, I don't like orange flavor with chocolate and although I LOVE mocha/coffee flavor, my kids don't. But those are probably easy to leave out of a recipe, I guess. Thanks!
