I agree with PP that if it was upright in a room temperature cabinet, there's a 90% chance it's not good. But I'd break that down maybe 60% it's bad, and 30% it's just meh.

7% chance it's good, and 3% it's fabulous.


A lot depends on how good it was to start with.

By definition your wine is old, so I assume you are asking if it goes bad. Most likely, your wine is no good anymore. The better the wine, the longer it can be stored as it ages in the bottle, but it has to be stored properly. I am guessing your was not stored properly. If it was stored upright in a cabinet, I am quite confident it is no good.
