I just score mine, stick cloves all over, and bake with a bit of apple juice in the bottom of the roasting pan. I add honey all over the top for the last 20 minutes of roasting. Yum!
I was with you right up until the honey. Try maple syrup instead!

OP here,
Thanks for all of the helpful replies! I have a lot to choose from.
And I love the idea of deviled eggs as a side -- thanks!

Honeybaked or Fresh Market for sure. Look for the coupons and it might be cheaper than buying one and cooking it. Consider scalloped potatoes for a side. They work well together. My family must have deviled eggs to go with the ham.

My ham recipe is "Go to Honeybaked Ham. Buy a ham."
OP here -- sounds yummy! Do you mind sharing the time/temperature for cooking it? (Sorry to be so clueless)

Subject: Ham Recipe?
Hi all,
I'm doing a super-casual Christmas Eve dinner: ham, mac and cheese, green beans, rolls. I'm happy with the menu (trying for an as-little-work-for-me-as-possible thing, so that I can actually enjoy my guests and our kids). But, I've never made a ham before!
Does anyone have a good recipe for a baked ham? I'm getting a boneless ham, probably 8 pounds or so.
