True. And read up on these machines, the closed loop water tank creates a disgusting petri dish to make all kinds of horribly rancid dreck in the tank can't be drained or aired out.
For example (this is not the post I am referring to above), you cannot clean a Keurig to the standards mentioned here since you can't subject it to boiling water for more than a minute and you can't air dry the tank and internal parts:

That's reason enough to not get one, the wastefulness and mediocre quality of the brew, etc., are just added reasons.
