Last PP here. Not sure if your cousin is local or would be interested, but I run this program in DC:

This isn't necessarily a book for teen moms, but I love Baby 411. So very helpful.

Babycenter community message boards seem to have a large contingent of young, unwed mothers.

She's 19, and out of highschool She's a young mom, but will likely not be a teen mom.

How about Girlfriend's Guide to parenting? I was a young mom and I enjoyed the What to Expect Book and a nice book on breastfeeding (if she's going to try it).

Is a book going to do much? It's very kind of you to think of your cousin, but I'm assuming you are a parent and that hers are maybe not so helpful? You being there and supportive is going to matter a lot more.

My cousin is 19 and just found out she's pregnant. Does anyone have any ideas for good books for younger moms that might speak to her?

Thanks!
