THe way you are describing your behavior and weight gain, you'll be up another 5-10 pounds by then. Why wait till after Christmas? Start making healthy choices at lunch.

Op here-- I get that I need to cut way back but honestly it just isn't super realistic with family etc before the new year. I just want some advice on how to look less like santa clause/in my second trimester until I get through the next two weeks. You've never gained holiday weight?

Annnd I just realized you can see my bellybutton through my shirt today. FML. 14 days till the diet starts.

I do really recommend spanx while you're getting the weight off. It smooths out a lot of the issues you are talking about.

I don't think it is nipped in the bud, it's a lifestyle change

Ouch.

Ugh. Me too. I have three pairs of pants, usually real tight and purposefully so, that are now like the mot egregious camel toes you've ever seen. Hate it.

Op-- Yeah, I had the delusion I could get into my sexy pants for a holiday party this weekend and the pooch got in the way of even being able to zip. I feel like someone' s replaced my torso with a water balloon.

On my period so def not pregnant but hoping not to start office rumors.

God, me too, OP. I'm sorry for you, but so glad I'm not alone. I felt like I was the only one without self control.

Show cleavage, use glitter and sequins to distract-- this is the only time of year you can get away with that.

My advice: Spanx is your friend. Buy it a size too small but very full coverage in order to avoid bulges and rolls.

Contour your face if you're bloated there, you can use the darker color to create cheekbones and hide a double chin.

Start eating healthy now. Don't wait till after the New Year, at this rate you'll have picked up another ten pounds by then.

Speaking of the last point, take a serious look at your habits. That weight gain isn't healthy or normal, and it's no good to put your head in the sand because of the holidays.

Sometimes I feel like my direct reports keep baking cookies just to fuck with me.

Kept a lot of my "holiday weight gain" all year, digging the blanket cardigan trend bc so much coverage.

You can try wearing a control camisole on top to hold things in and smooth out the bra lines.

If it makes you feel better, I once went to the doctor because I had really bloated, swollen boobs (felt like they were rising out of my bra like bread, trying to float up to my neck) and had a crazy hope I was pregnant. Doctor not so kindly told me it was a case of too much celebrating and too little gym time.
