You have to sit in all of them. I like to sit in the corner of sofas, and most are uncomfortable. You need to try them out in the way you like to sit on them.
I wound up with Ethan Allen because I needed pieces if a sectional that didn't look like a sectional - my living room is on the second floor, and in have a weird staircase where you can't get a proper large sofa up them.
C&B had terrible fabrics, especially on the stock ones.

I've seen PB square sofas on Craigslist, and they always look terrible, like the cushions don't hold their shape.

I love the look of Ethan Allen's stuff but the price doesn't match the quality. Their furniture just isn't made from quality materials. We have two C&B sofas right now though that we're very happy with. One is 10 years old, the other 3, both holding up great. My mother has a PB sofa that's holding up well, but I don't think it's very comfortable.

We have this one from C and B and are very happy with it.

I like the first one but high arms are nice if you are laying down on it. I also like one solid cushion on the bottom of the couch for resting. We have a pottery barn couch I got on major clearance and it has been holding up well but we also keep it covered with a blanket.

I like lower arms on a sofa. The first one would be out for me.

And see, we have Ethan Allen furniture that I don't like. Not happy with at all.

We have three Ethan Allen sofas (different styles than your photo, though); they are very comfortable and durable. I'd absolutely recommend EA; all of the furniture we have bought there has been great quality and worth every penny.

Which fabric do you have?

Ethan Allen furniture holds up beautifully. It's my go-to. Ever PB couch I bought has collapsing cushions before long. Very uncomfortable.

I like the Ethan Allen one and the Room and Board one. Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn furniture is usually pretty crappy. Also take a look at Arhuas. I bought some chairs and sectionals from them that have really stood the test of time.

We have the Rochelle. It has held up well, but I wouldn't describe it as easy to clean, at least not in the fabric we have.

No personal experience with those but all the PB furniture I've purchased has been crap. C&B is usually pretty well-made and I like the looks of the C&B over the Room & Board.

OP here. Actually the PB one is the one with the square arms:

I am looking for something with clean lines and easy to clean - and comfortable of course! And which one do you prefer? I am so torn...
