I haven't run Big Sur, but I think the scenery would be worth the trip.

I have not run this one, but I really want to, and probably will in 2015. I've heard it's extremely hilly.

I'm also interested in running Surf City in southern CA, but I know I won't be in 2015--I have too many other things going on to make that trip this year.

The Rock n roll half in Las Vegas was on the strip at night...it was pretty cool

Now that I'm seriously getting more into running and am almost half ready, are there any especially fun/beautiful/exciting/etc half marathons that are worth making a trip out of? Outside of the local area?
