I'm trying that one for a party tomorrow night! Will report back.

PP here! The double-cider bourbon punch was an unadulterated hit last night! I don't have a punchbowl, so I made a half-batch in a pitcher...and then made the other half on demand. It was light, didn't taste too boozy, and seemed very seasonal.

I'd go with mulled wine or wassail or a champagne punch (we did one with pomegranate I think, and used prosecco instead of champagne). You can also do pomegranate martinis.

I do cranberry, orange, sprite, and vodka with rosemary varnish.

I would suggest either mulled wine or coquito. Both seasonal, festive, and pack a mean punch.

Coquito: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/puerto-rican-coconut-milk-rum-christmas-drink-coquito-recipe.html

A friend brought the cider rum punch to a gathering recently, and it was delicious!

I made the gimlet from that article and it was good.

Wassail
Anything with cranberry juice, Cosmopolitans would be pretty with a lime twist (can make a big batch ahead of time)
Eggnog

Love the idea of a cider rum punch!

What is a fun cocktail to make for a small party? I would love something I could make a batch of like a mojito but want something a little wintery and festive. any ideas?
