I'm having an off year in terms of gift buying. I'm drawing a blank on what to get for my mother. She's seriously contemplating retiring in the new year, so I thought maybe something related to preparing to retire might be a good gift. Anyone able to suggest anything? She likes the History Channel (actual history), light gardening, and travel.
