The problem is that more Jewish blood has been spilled in the name of Christianity/Jesus that anything else. Why on earth would a Jew celebrate Jesus' birthday?
even some Christians aren't celebrating Jesus' birthday -- they're just having a holiday over the winter solstice - as people did in pagan times, well before Jesus. Lighting a yule log Bringing pine trees indoors was a way of brightening and warming things up during winter and celebrating the obviously lengthening days after the solstice on Dec 22.
