OP here - paper lunch size bag. 3-4 tablespoons of kernels. 2 minutes in the microwave.

Wow, never heard of this. Do you have to secure the bag closed, and if so, how?

Snack and meal ideas:

+1 to hard boiled eggs

Turkey and cheese roll ups

Almonds (in moderation)

Lettuce wraps with sauteed chicken

Can of Fillet of herring or water packed tuna

Egg, broccoli, cheddar casserole (you put beaten eggs or egg whites into a small casserole dish, add steamed broccoli, season to taste and top with cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Great for breakfast and snacks).

Gordon's grilled fish (I like cajun seasoned)

Atkins frozen meals

Hard boiled eggs. I cook a dozen in Sunday and keep them in the fridge for breakfast and snacks throughout the week.

Plain air popped popcorn. You can have 5 cups of it for 1 weight watchers point. I eat giant bowls of it to fill up when dieting.

Roasted kale. I've been making trays of it recently for snacking while on maternity leave. I buy the pre-cut/washed bags. Throw some on a cookie sheet with olive oil, salt & pepper. I'll add minced garlic if I have any pre-minced. Roast in the oven for ten minutes at 425. Satisfies the crunchy/salty craving.

Dill pickles, steamed broccoli with red wine vinegar on it, picked vegetables like green beans, carrots, and asparagus, oatmeal. And cottage cheese with Splenda is my dieting holy grail.

I really hope other people give suggestions here!

Name your must haves when watching what you eat? Not "diet" products, but actual whole food munchies and things for snacking. I make dips with fat free greek yogurt and cut up lots of veggies to have with it. Air popped pop corn. Fruit. Seltzer with lemon or lime. What are some other things that help during your snackiest times of the day?
