I have a painted sarouk from Iran. Farouk was a king in Egypt.

What is correct terminology? Is one from Saudi Arabia and one from Iran?
My Dad just got a rug cleaned and Hadeed told him it was worth about $18,000. Dad says they said "farouk" but I think they must have said "sarouk."
