Whole Foods Organic Almond milk (red container) does not container carrageenan and the 60cal should be unsweetened. I think the Silk Almond also is carrageenan free too.

Trader Joe's almond milk does not have carrageenan (I think, pls double check the label). I am pleased to learn that Giant and WF also has carrageen-free almond milk!

Whole Foods store brand (365) unsweetened almond milk -- it's in the asceptic package. Good "creamy" taste, no weird aftertaste, NO carrageenan.

The store brand at WF doesn't have it, I don't think.

Making your own hemp milk is really easy. No soaking needed. Get a bag of shelled, raw (organic if possible) hemp seeds. Take 1 cup of seeds and 3 cups of water. Put in a high speed blender and blend until smooth. You can add dates for sweetness if wanted. Or a pinch of salt.

Super easy and very nutritious. Loads of omega 3 and 6. High in good fats and decent in protein.

You can also buy hemp milk but not sure if it has carragenean in it.

I like almond milk, but I've looked at the ingredients for a few and they all contain carrageenan (I have no idea what that is, lol!).

You could try making your own almond milk - soak a bunch of almonds for a day or two, rinse, throw them in a blender with fresh water, then strain out the solids through cheesecloth. There are a bunch of recipes on Google for exact proportions of almonds:water and soaking time. The soaking takes a while, but it's easy and requires very little hands-on time. Sorry I don't know of any off-the-shelf options.

Can anyone name a nondairy milk that is unsweetened and has no carrageenan? Bonus if it actually has a god protein content. Thanks!
