I get migraines that are primarily on the right side of my head. I take a really hot shower and just sit on the floor with my head under water until it's not so bad and then take a nap.

If that's not an option, something cold and caffeinated usually helps a bit. Like a frozen mocha. Ironic to say this on DCUM, but step away from the computer and dim the lights. Also, a good shoulder rub - shoulder/back tension can often manifest in headaches. Something hot or cold on your forehead.

Anyway - good luck, OP. Headaches are the worst.

BTW-I don't get migraines and hardly ever have headaches

I have a bad headache in my right temple, sharp and constant pain, and ibuprofen has done nothing to stop it. Suggestions?
