The top and first half were cooked perfectly. The bottom was soggy, mushy, and not totally done. Everyone tried to say it was delicious and not make a big deal that it was disgusting, I excused myself to the bathroom and cried a little. I blame hormones.
Don’t be so hard on yourself, pp. Pies are tough to make. Good for you for making it all from scratch. And, I have found over the years that most of my guests have not enjoyed the dessert at Thanksgiving because they are so stuffed from the meal itself. I am sure it was better than you think.
