Didn't finish - very southern, starch- and meat-heavy. Maybe it's a very large family gathering with lots of people who prefer different meats?


I'd rather go to the OP's Thanksgiving dinner than to either of the Thanksgiving dinners in the Washington Post food section.

Nothing. 3rd year in a row we have been invited to dinner by friends. I'll see what's on the menu when I get there.

As long as I'm not cooking and cleaning up, I don't care. Though I always bring wine.
