Nothing cooked or heavy. I'd just have a couple of cheeses, some crackers, grapes and some nuts. You want to take the edge off so they're not ravenous.

We have friends coming to town. They'll arrive at our place around noon and then we'll go to my parent's place for a late lunch since her parents will be there (her parents and my parents are friends). I was thinking of having appetizers and drinks. What would you serve?
