If I were you, I would travel Thursday morning instead. The weather will be clear, and the traffic on Thanksgiving morning is much, much lighter than on Weds in general. We've traveled north on 270 every year, and going on Thanksgiving morning (around 7/8am) is smooth sailing.

I agree with PP that traveling on Weds at noon would probably be the worst due to the weather.

You will be leaving when it is likely to be snowing the hardest. Might want to reconsider. Roads will be a disaster.

I was leaving tomorrow around noon, and now we are leaving tonight at 6 or 7 pm depending on when we are done packing. You should leave tonight.

Not me. I was going to leave at 5 AM tomorrow. Now I'm leaving at 2 PM today. Godspeed.

We'll be leaving the beltway onto 270 around 2pm.
