I'm going to a nearby clothing store to see if they have a shirt box I could have.
They have no shirt boxes, and I could only fit two tins in the oven, so the other one is sitting out and will have to be cooked separately. Ugh. I should just stop accepting invitations.

Go to a clothing or department store and get shirt boxes that are deep enough to close without hitting the tops and stack them and either carry in a large shopping bag or tie with twine and carry old school parcel style.

Or stand them up vertically in one bag with paper between them. Then there is no weight on them.
Or just take them out of the tins, but them in a serving basket, and carry.
Muffins aren't that fragile and will presumably be taken out of the tins to serve anyway so personally I'd go with option 3.

Subject: How to transport these?
If they are not frosted can you pile them in a basket? Muffins are usually pretty hardy. If they are very fragile and can't be stacked that way do you have any cardboard gift boxes that the tins will fit in? If no large cardboard or tupperwre boxes maybe transfer to a 9x13 pan with a cookie sheet for a lid?

I am walking and taking mass transit to a dinner tonight. I am making pumpkin muffins to bring. Yesterday I bought those throw-away muffin tins to bake the muffins. There will be 2-3 tins to carry. They didn't come with lids.
How do I cover these without smushing the muffins? And, how do I carry multiple tins without carrying one on top of another? Thank you.
