For $75 I assume it's a high school yearbook. I got one every year until HS and then got one my senior year. I think that's a good plan to go by.

Just get it for him. I lost mine in a tornado in my early 20s and I remember wishing I'd had them still whenever I went back to my hometown and ran into people.

I finally tossed mine at age 40. Wish I had done it sooner. But I am glad I had them in my younger years.

I would get one for every year that he's in high school.

He doesn't need four yearbooks. They will be put on a shelf and forgotten.

Yes get him one. I would be do sad if 1 of mine was missing.

And on the flip side, you would have to drag me kicking and screaming to a high school reunion, but I still get a kick out of flipping through the yearbooks from time to time. Get the yearbook.

Deadline approaching but I can't decide. Money not the issue but just seems like a waste of 75$. DS will be in it for class and one activity but it is a huge school so not really a connection. 9Th grader. Not sure why I have decided that I think it is a waste of money this year. When asked, he said he would like one but has never talked about it in any other context. I loved getting one but very small school and almost everyone was a BFF and lots of signatures. Last year, DS had maybe 4-5. Looked at it that day and never again. 7 th grade I forgot and he did say last day the only thing they did was go to cafeteria for yearbook signing and it was " weird" or something like that -- I think meaning he felt left out. Of course, I felt terrible that year but now thinking 75$ wasted for 30-45 min of activity to feel included but no real meaning. I guess all these threads of HHI got me thinking. My kids bring home these things and it is automatic; I used babysitting money for a lot of school things. So, just checking my reality. Not sure if I make sense. Just curious what others think. Thanks.
