OP here,

You aren't the only one who liked Tallula/EatBar I actually got to go to their closing weekend event and have a cocktail from circa 2002 that had poprocks on the rim!

It seems more criteria is required:
- One person will need to take metro. I guess maybe someone could pick her up if the nearest stop is close but not walkable.
- One person avoids meat/seafood and another is gluten free. Both are easing going, so having one good option for each is fine.
- Need to take reservations during Sunday brunch (like 2pm).

I've appreciated your suggestions so far! I'm definitely adding Del Ray Cafe to my "to eat list" for the future since they can't seat a group this size this Sunday.

I'm not a fan of Carlyle but a lot of people like it. Del Ray Cafe is nice.

I just had birthday dim sum at Marks Duck House in Annadale. Not glamorous, but super yummy and fun for a group.

J. Glibert's in McLean. Low key, and since it's a buffet, folks can linger.

I'm looking to have a low-key birthday brunch this Sunday. I'd like it to be a relaxing time for 5-8 30ish year old ladies before the Thanksgiving to Christmas holiday blur takes off. Where should we go?

- People will be coming from kinda all directions, but one friend has an obligation in Fairfax until at least 1pm. I was thinking if we held it in Nova (maybe Arlington?) she could join us sooner rather than later.
- One friend is pregnant and I'm not sure who else is/isn't drinking at the moment...would prefer a place that doesn't require everyone at the table to purchase bottomless drinks.
- More concerned about a comfortable atmosphere to hang out and chat as most of the people coming have not met each other than the most trendy food.

Thanks!
