Man here. Unless this is chronic, just let it go. It's actually kind of funny (just not to her face!). Give her a back rub and try for sex. That never works for me, but maybe you'll have better luck.

Don't ignore the "called me a liar" gambit. She knows you didn't and it's unacceptable for her to pretend you did. It's a bullying tactic and you should push back against it.

Did she not want her sound system fixed? She sounds very ungrateful. Hopefully she is just in a pissy mood and it will pass on its own quickly.

Are you a newlywed? If not, you should know whether you are from different planets by now.

I would try not to feed into/give attention to her drama. Ignore the "you called me a liar" gambit. Remind her as sympathetically and tactfully as posible that the new stereo is installed, the heat is working fine now, and you don't think the shop owes you all any money. If she thinks differently, she can call the shop and ask for a partial refund.

Stressed out does not give you license to be a dumb ass.

She sounds really stressed out, OP. I talk this kind of nonsense when I've reached my limit at work, with a friend, my mother or someone whom I technically can't yell at.

Just ignore it. She'll be fine in a couple of hours.

My wife's care needed a new audio system. So, on the recommendation of our mechanic I took it to a sound specialist who put the latest technology into her car. This was Saturday. Yesterday morning, she calls me to say that the heat in the car is not working. So, we arrange to meet at lunch and swap cars so I can take her back to the sound specialist. He finds that they forget to reconnect the heating system during their installation. It is a quick ten minute fix.

This morning, my DW starts to complain that the seat heaters in her car are not working and that the "knuckleheads" at the sound shop "must've done something." So, I take her car and I discover there is absolutely nothing wrong. It all works. Now, she is saying I called her a liar and that in any case since she got a speeding ticket on the way to meet me yesterday we need to get a partial refund on the installation. Hello? The guy fixed the problem at no charge, admitted it was their mistake. Am I living on a different planet from this woman? I don't get it.
