managers 'trade' staff all the time- if you're in a GP, managed transfers are now simpler, find a manager who will take you and move on.

+100. GP managed transfers are the way to transition, if possible. Not so sure about the cross-cutting. IGA - you are dead. Some GPs are posting positions now, mine is (F&M), but at the GG/GH levels.

OP here - not being liked means one is excluded - and basically has nothing to do! It has crossed my mind to go to the supervisor. What if her supervisor tells her I did so?

No the policies are pretty stiff and they dont allow that
There is nothing she can do except try to ruin your chances for the next contract. You can always do your own networking and talk to her supervisors over her head, it's not a crime in wbg unless you majorly screw it up
Not sure why you are so sensitive to her not liking you

My manager wants me out of my position. Do HR policies allow her to pay the remainder of my term contract to get rid of me sooner? Doubt she'd want to go the "bad performance" route, as I do a good job and get good evaluations. She just does not like me.

Anyone had any experience related to this kind of the situation?

Would also like to hear if people have been in my situation. It's not a lot of fun.
