managers 'trade' staff all the time- if you're in a GP, managed transfers are now simpler, find a manager who will take you and move on.
+100. GP managed transfers are the way to transition, if possible. Not so sure about the cross-cutting. IGA - you are dead. Some GPs are posting positions now, mine is (F&M), but at the GG/GH levels.
