Just spent 30 bucks at Walmart on CB easy Opk. Disapointed to read on the instructions that they don't sell the strips separately so I'll have to spend another 30 bucks in Jan for a whole new box. So wasteful and expensive. Hoping their accuracy will pay off.

Clearblue digital. Yes they are more expensive, but they are more accurate - I tried the cheapo ones side by side with them. Clearblue detected LH surge a day before the other ones, and the advance warning helps!

I also liked the Wondfo. I found it easy to read and I didn't feel bad using lots of them since they are so cheap.

I like the Wondfos, but some people complain about them because they fade in to positive, so sometimes it can be difficult to tell what is positive v. almost positive. Same thing with the CVS brand cheap strips (they come in a pack of 20).

I have also had really good luck with Babi OPKs (same strip packs as Wondfo, also available through Amazon) - they tend to stay light until a positive pops up, so people who have difficulty catching O seem to like the Babi better than Wondfo.

pp, ftr, I didn't follow those restrictions with the wondfo, and it worked fine. I used fresh (body temp) morning (sometimes very early morning) and evening urine and it detected ovulation with no problem. As for the 4 hour thing I just tried to make sure I hadn't just peed an hour or two earlier. The rules are probably related to its intended use in doc offices.

Only between 10 and 4? Good grief. I can just see myself, hunched in the bathroom stall at work, fumbling with pee cup and strips (not to mention getting through meetings having not peed for 3.9 hours). I had no idea - thanks so much for the head's up!

sooo I have become a master at discreet ovulation testing. i keep a little make up bag in my purse with a little cup (i use the leftover scoop from our protein powder) to pee in along with a bunch of the wondfo strips. i have a timer on my watch so i can see if it's time to read the tests. the wondfo ones are really small so easy to hide in your pocket if necessary; however you will need a cup in which to pee because you have to dip the darn things in your urine. can't do midstream. the clearblue digital ones you can do midstream but they're more expensive and have lots of plastic packaging (so are more wasteful). however, i found it nice this month to have a clear smiley face positive instead of wondering "is this line as dark as the other?????" like in wondfo strips. with wondfo, you have to test during the hours of 10am and 4pm and have to have not peed for four hours before. i find that kind of annoying. the clearblue digital you can test first thing in the morning or any other time of day as long as you haven't peed for at least four hours.

Thought I'd give them a try this month and wondering if anyone had a particular recomendation. I'm just finishing my second month off BCP and my cycle's not quite back to normal (at least I think so - it's usually a standard 27 days and month one it was 31 days and most recent AF came at 29. So, I'm betting it'll shorten up a bit this month). Anyhow, I thought a little help figuring out when I was ovulating would be useful and was trying to decide what to get. Some people like Wondfo, I think? Some like Clear Blue Easy? I'll be travelling around Thanksgiving, so would love to not have lots of, ac, accoutrements to pack (and dispose of at the in laws...)
