A small coffee grinder is excellent for grinding spices later, if you don't normally "do" coffee..and they're less than 10 bucks. Handy little kitchen gadget to have.

You could also do it in a bullet blender, if you know someone with one.

You have 3 options

1) regift
2) find a friend who has a grinder and borrow it
3) just bring them into a grocery store and grind them

+1. What a pretentious gift anyway

If it's Starbucks brand you can take it to one of their stores.

Those are nasty. They're never cleaned and you have all the rotten oils inside. Get a mini-grinder from Starbucks or online.

Oh FFS, they're fine. I'm not paying $10 to grind one bag of beans.

I agree with PPs -- regift them to someone who gives a crap, and go back to the simple life.

Haha, back when folks lived a simpler life they- guess what- did things like grind their own beans! my gram still has an old manual grinder that belonged to her mom.

I thought this comment was funny, but do understand OP's desire not to buy another kitchen appliance. Do you have a neighborhood listserv? Chances are someone you know has one and would be willing to let you borrow or stop over to grind. Although most home models are on the smaller side so it could take a while.

Ask your friends or neighbors if you can borrow one for a few minutes. Invite them over for a cup of coffee afterward.

Find a small used grinder on Craigslist. Once we started grinding out own coffee I've never looked back, it just tastes so much better!

I have some coffee beans that were given to me. I do not have a grinder and don't really need to buy one since we don't buy coffee beans.
Where might I be able to get the beans grinded?
