I can understand why you needed a decorator to select your color palette.

I just used a decorator for paint color, and it took a lot longer than I thought it would. She did a great job picking the pallet for each room, but it took a while for dh and I to decide on specific colors. It was worth every penny. The colors we picked are perfect. I was trying to do it on my own, and I was no where near the color that worked for each room.

$125/hour and up. They will advise you in sizing of furniture and placement of furniture. Pick paint colors, accessories, drapes, blinds. They will do anything that involves decorating a room.
