He didn't forge her identity on the Yelp review.
She asked for a particular item/service. Restaurant said they don't provide that item/service. She then decided that failure to provide that particular item/service warranted her exacting "vengeance" by taking to Yelp and writing a one star review.
Without reading any of the response from the owner, I read the initial Yelp review and concluded that writer was ridiculous. So I don't really care what "version" she gave you. Her words speak for themselves, and she comes across as an idiot.
i love how the reviewer assumes that she will starve if this one restaurant in Kansas City doesn't cater to her every whim. So entrepreneurial of her!

I am quite sure that the person who called the restaurant was a total douchenozzle. However, I also don't know why restaurants get so bent out of shape about this kind of request. Someone wants to walk across the street, pay full price and not take up a table, and get some food in takeaway containers that you already have - seems like a win.
But one the restaurant said "no" , I'd just be moving on to the restaurant next door.

You didn't read accurately. The owner said that they would box up uneaten food from dining-in patrons. That means that they would have had to go into the restaurant, be seated, ordered food, waited for it to be delivered to their table, then asked to have it boxed up. They were looking for take-out food, not boxed up leftovers which is all the restaurant would agree to.
