Your friend made enough of an ass of herself in the original review that it doesn't really matter if the response was accurate or not.
He didn't forge her identity on the Yelp review.
She asked for a particular item/service. Restaurant said they don't provide that item/service. She then decided that failure to provide that particular item/service warranted her exacting "vengeance" by taking to Yelp and writing a one star review.
Without reading any of the response from the owner, I read the initial Yelp review and concluded that writer was ridiculous. So I don't really care what "version" she gave you. Her words speak for themselves, and she comes across as an idiot.
