I have not found the Costco premade Indian food good. I do however like the TastyBites Dal Makhani pretty decent.

The tikka sauce is strange tasting - however, I am Indian and I am basing my opinion on the authentic fresh food that I have eaten.

There may be many who are happy with the costco fare.

If you're going to jarred tikka the Trader Joes one is as good as any.

What brand jarred sauce do you recommend?

Not that great, but not terrible. Had the tikka. The sauce was ok. The portion was smaller than I expected and the chicken tasted previously frozen. It's in a weird block of mushed together white meat that you have to fork through to separate.

It's so easy to cut up some chicken tenders and throw in a skillet with jarred tikka sauce that I just do that now. Trader joes sells really good naan you keep frozen. I also add some frozen peas. Cheap fast and easy dinner with stuff that's all in the freezer or jar.

Anyone tried their tikka or tandoori chicken?
