Me too.
On my first date with my dh, he asked what kind of food I liked. I said "anything but Indian" he said "me too, I'm so relieved that you said that!".
That was 20 years ago and we still have never even tasted Indian food together!

If you don't eat garlic and onion, doesn't that omit pretty much every type of cuisine?

I like spicy food, but I don't like Indian food.

Not everyone likes everything. Don't worry about it.

Do you genrally like "plain" food? Maybe the flavors are too intense for you. My mom is like that. Garlic, onions, citrus, and basic herbs are fine, but her tastebuds get overwhelmed by strongly-flavored foods.

For me the smell of eggs, bacon and fish are revolting. Can't stand it and being at a breakfast place is sooo bad for me. I feel like the smell gets in my hair and in my clothes. Yuck!

My husband hates it too. It sucks because I love Indian.

That's OK. I'm the only person I know who gets queasy at the sight and smell of mac & cheese and any kind of deli meat. Been that way my whole life. Yack. To each her own.

I can eat just about anything. I'm very adventurous in my eating. And I just don't like Indian food. I don't like Lima beans either. It's okay to not like every food in the world.

I cannot stand Indian food. Last time I tried it I literally got sick in the parking lot of the restaurant. The smell of curry makes me nauseous.

Loads of different types of indian food. Have you tried both south and North Indian? South Indian is more rice based and less pungent spices. Try Woodlands in Langely Park. Great food!

I love it, but I know plenty of people who don't.

I am with you! I tried very authentic Indian food cooked by my Indian friends, 'regular' American indian food and I simply cannot stomach it. I can usually find something I like in any type of ethnic restaurant except for Indian places!

Everyone I know loves Indian food, I absolutely hate the spices and the smell just lingers forever. It's nauseating. I've tried to like it, tried different dishes, different restaurants...am I alone in this?
