OP, are you Korean by any chance? Looking for/finding is a mix up my Korean husband would make. Just asking bc I haven't met many other Korean speaking families in Arlington.

In any case, there have been lots of good suggestions already, but if you let us know where you're located and how old your kids are we can be more helpful.

OP, in addition to some of the restaurants already named, we like Pete's in Clarendon and the Carlyle in Shirlington.

It's a bit far for you, but my boys (1 and 3) love Black Market in Garrett Park (it's owned by the same people as Black Salt). It's in a little victorian former train stop next to the current MARC train tracks, which run cargo trains on the weekends. I love that they have good food and the kids are riveted by the trains. There's also a little park up the street.

The food at Metro 29 is waaaay better than Silver Diner and it's just as kid-friendly. I'm not saying the food is amazing, but it's edible, which is more than I can say for the Silver Diner. M29 isn't kitschy like Silver Diner but they do have crayons for the kids and when you check out they will give your kid a dum-dum pop and a cookie the size of his head.

Lots of restaurants in Arlington are kid-friendly, especially if you go early and not on a weekend night, when many of them have a crazy happy hour scene.

Rosslyn - Heavy Seas Ale House and Rhodeside Grill are kid-friendly.

Courthouse - Four Courts is kid-friendly, as are Fireworks pizza and Bayou Bakery.

In Clarendon, we love Whitlows - very casual - and Liberty Tavern. (the restaurant upstairs is kid-friendly; the downstairs bar less so.) You can do American Tap Room or Arlington Rooftop. Faccia Luna and Boulevard Woodgrill and Circa all welcome kids. (Circa does not have a kids' menu, but the mac & cheese on the apps menu is delish.) Hard Times is good for kids. I do not find Eventide to be very kid-friendly.

In Ballston, Rock Bottom, Rio Grande and Rustico are all good choices. We also like Zoe's kitchen. Super Pollo has good roast chicken and sides. We recently enjoyed Two Chefs near the Bluemont safeway.

A bit further west, we've had good luck at Thirsty Bernie's, Pie-Tanza, Taqueria Poblano, District Taco. Cowboy Cafe is a dive, but kind of a fun one. And we really like Clare & Don's in Falls Church, and the Mad Fox Brewing Co.

Help! I am finding kids friendly restaurants in Arlington and DC. I just moved in Arlington, so pretty new for everything. Could you recommend any kids-friendly restaurants?
