I also loved these when I was nursing: http://www.food.com/recipe/that-fabulous-tahini-cookie-315101. (They're damn fine even when I am not nursing, too, but the oats are good for supply. I recommend quartering the recipe; the amounts are for a commercial bakery.)

Subject: Dessert/sweets suggestions for dairy free diet
I am breastfeeding and due to my son's weight problem, my doctor has extended my dairy free diet for another month. I bought some dairy free ice cream and yogurt at Whole Foods but all that halloween candy is calling to me (I'm looking at you M&Ms and twix bars). She said I could have dairy if it's baked into it, so I could have a cookie but can't put butter on toast, if this makes sense. Any suggestions for candy and sweets I can reach for, esp when a chocolate craving strikes? I know Oreo's are dairy free but what else? Even though tootsie rolls have milk in them, can I consider that a baked product? I've been eating a lot of candy corn since I don't have anything else to satisfy the cravings but hope someone has some suggestions to help me get through the next month. Thanks!
