Thyme goes in a lot of things. Also tarragon for fish, and rosemary for veggies.

Not including garlic and onions, which I don't think of as spices, probably cumin and then various hot peppers, then coriander and celery seed. I actually use very little black pepper as I despise the flavor.

We like mustard powder in our chicken recipes, soups, salsas, and crab cakes.

I use a lot of thyme. Also cayenne and chili power. Obviously not all three at the same time.
