My son is a seventh grader. You are supposed to apply to AOS in eighth grade. So we will do that next year.

He just took it to see what he would get given that he is in Algebra 1 Honors right now.

Oh yeah, my husband and I are are computer scientists and electrical engineers, respectively.
How do we help my son review the Critical Reading and Writing sections?

Yes 200 for a 7th grader is good. PSAT is changing so not sure whether that means anything though.

Actually, most test-takes say to add 30 so the 60 in critical read becomes 630 in the SAT; Math 730; Writing 730.

You are supposed to add a 0 for predicted SAT scores, so that would be a good score. Is this for AoS admissions? You know you can have your 7th grader take the SAT as well through JHU-CTY or Duke TIP.

The SAT is supposed to be a lot different once our 7th graders get to 11th grade, and if I had known that I probably wouldn't have had my 7th grader take it. Oh well, guess at least she's used to sitting for a long test in a strange classroom.
