I was involved in interviewing every candidate, but not going through responses and selecting nannies to interview. I'm not " troubling" myself with it. I'm plain curious on men's opinions.
Did you ask your DH? And did he have photographs of the candidates before choosing them for an interview?

I realize that and that is why I am asking to gain prospective from men. I even asked if the girls looks play no part in it?

I told him be can do the majority of the work ( putting up the ad, picking the girls we want to interview, and corresponding with them) so my DH did just that. I realized that out of the 8-9 girls we interviewed, majority were young and attractive. We ended up hiring a young 20's girl who while a little chubby, is cute. I'm not insecure and trust my DH completely. A few of my girlfriends mentioned that my DH probably liked the idea of handeling the process so he could pick " pretty girls." I started to get curious so I came here. If my DH ( and any men) take care of selecting the women, do they purposely pick attractive women vs. unattractive? Qualifications are most imperative, but would they rather pick an attractive vs. unattractive nanny to interview? Or do her looks like play a factor in it at all?
