But here's someone who had a plan for continuing education before a mayoral run, and which will happen whether or not he becomes mayor. He has a vision for education in DC that Bowser doesn't.

But Bowser will invite everyone to sit around the table.

I just got some campaign literature from Catania. He wants schools that are "excellent for every child in every neighborhood".

A wonderful goal.

Reminds me of the FEDEX commercial. "How'm I gonna do that?"

We are for Catania all the way. He knowledgeable and smart on educational issues, and he will lead -- not just put a finger to the wind like what's-her-name.

Talked to him outside Brookland metro yesterday. He has my vote. Very impressed.

You may want to get more informed before Tuesday.

Completely agree!

Catania is the choice to strengthen neighborhood schools throughout the district. He is not anti charter nor does he want more charters. For the life of me, I cannot understand why anyone who cares about public education in DC (DCPS and public charter) would not vote for him. (Signed a democrat and DCPS parent).

Although I am not familiar with this specific issue, my support goes to Catania as well, largely because of his familiarity to the district's educational system and its challenges. Overall, (education and other matters), the district needs a change.

The school belongs to the neighborhood, and not to a non-resident bureaucrat interested in building a CV and bigger paycheck. A school can make and sustain a neighborhood. Be responsible Tuesday.
