This is the best advice. Or you can brush the backs with a little water to get them to stick perhaps.

I'm making some brownies in a few minutes and had gotten some of those thick sugar icing decorations to put on top (pumpkins, skeletons, etc) and just realized I have no icing or ingredients to whip some up. Anyone know if I can put them on the brownie mix prior to baking so they stick in them, or will baking ruin them? Alternately, I have a little bit of decorating gel I could use to put a dot under them, but the gel won't get hard and set them, right?
