Do you have a deeper color in any of your upholstered pieces? If so, you could get it matched in paint.

NP. I'd go with a pop of color, personally. Another neutral would be harder to fit.

Revere Pewter was my first thought, too, though when I tried it in my house, it definitely read as a warm color.

If you know what the name and brand of the colors are, I would look at the paint sample from the company b/c they often list coordinating colors, e.g.:

Benjamin Moore's Revere Pewter is a neutral that is both warm and cool at the same time. Or you can go with something that complements both like a slate blue/grey.

In our house we have a beige-ish living room that connects to an open kitchen/family room that's painted grey. They're both neutrals, so on one level they work together, but the living room is definitely more on the "warm" scale and the other room is more "cool." There is a dining room in between and I'd love to find a nice versatile color that will help bridge the warm and cool space. Any suggestions?
