OP here. It's an established term. Embryo adoption. There is a website for that.

Any has experience going through this process and finding embryos of a particular race? I am not sure if donated embryo banks would be even big enough. Wondering how many couples would be considered donating and not discarding or giving it for research.

I'd just call it "using donor embryos". I used donor sperm, but I sure didn't do "sperm adoption"!

To some degree I agree, but the person/people responsible for creating the embryo would be the ones donating it. If you're selecting or choosing an embryo that someone else has donated, there has to be a term for it. Both parties can't donate it. That doesn't even make sense.

i'm glad I read this thread because I am thinking of donating a PGS tested embryo (different race though) and I didn't realize that SG won't do the implantation for the adoptive couple. I wonder why not?

SG does not do it. According to this website, there are a few in our area who seem to, although clinics do not advertise it as a service on their website.

OP here again. New to me too. Got to know a month ago. Embryo adoption could be my last resort after experiencing 11 failures through IVF+IUI. Ofc assuming my uterus is good! Cannot financially afford adoption or surrogacy.

OP here. Some couples donate their leftover embryos for adoption. Like donor egg, this is donor embryo.

I'm looking for embryos of Asian Indian origin to begin with. Does anyone know of a bank/agency where Indian or similar looking embryos would be available?
How long is the process and how much is the start to end cost? TIA.
