Anyone know how much to reupholster a Lay-Z-boy recliner? I love it but it's falling apart.

I was give a quote of $380 each for two Bergere chairs.

My sofa was $1200 , small chair was $400. Went with the mid price place.

This is dependent on SO many factors. I'd estimate at least $200-400 a chair. Fabric costs vary wildly too. So yes it's probably cheaper to get new chairs, but they might match better if you have them reupholstered in fabric of your choosing.

about 10 years ago, it was $600 to recover a very small rocking chair.

I have two small chairs. Think head table dining chairs not huge recliner chairs. They are all fabric, not just the seat. What can I expect to pay to have this recovered as I currently dislike the fabric. Would it be cheaper to just get two new chairs? Currently they are accent chairs in my bedroom.
