just realized that having no coworkers and working alone might be confusing - sometimes there'd be more than one of us on at a time, but the manager was never in.

I worked for a whitewater rafting company one summer in Colorado. Beautiful little town, lovely people. I was a support staff (kitchen and the like) but got to go down the river almost every day when the guides needed extra people in the boats to meet the capacity requirements.

I was a projectionist for an indie movie theatre on campus as my college work study job.

Difficult schedule (4pm-2am on Fridays and Saturdays), but the best job ever. Saw awesome movies, and friends brought me take out to the both and hung out for the late show.

Good times.

Educational travel consultant - planned trips for teachers and students to Europe, and spent summers in London, Paris and Rome checking to make sure everyone liked their tour manager, hotel and excursions.

What kind of work did you do?

On tour, I sold t-shirts and CDs/ did PR/ arranged press. While not on tour, interviews/ PR/ press, personal assistant stuff, ran the website, product management, etc. Went to a lot of late-night TV show tapings and met a lot of celebrities, only a few of whom I had prior knowledge or interest. Yes, fun job at the time, definitely.

+1. Best coworkers especially when you're a 20-something who just relocated for a new job. Great job for the first ten years of your career but can kill your personal life if you're not careful.

What was the most fun job you've ever had?

I worked at an amusement park in the summers as a teenager. Had a blast and the company would have parties after work for us 1x every summer.
