Just because of this we have a hamper downstairs. At least the clothes make it in there and not all over the house!

My DH is so LOUD. Like everything he does- getting food, loading the dishwasher, going up and down the stairs - is like 10 times louder than any normal human. He listens to the TV at aboslute ear splitting volume. Maybe to drown out all the other noise. It's kind of makes me laugh, except on the few occasions when it wakes up a baby/kid I have just put to bed. But he's always willing to pitch in in his own noisy way. Perhaps I have super sensitive hearing or something.

On the other hand, I am pretty certain that I do several of the things PPs have listed for their annoying husbands, so I think we're at least even. I know my chronic procrastination re laundry and lateness annoy him to no end

Leaves her wet towels on the bed

Empties out her purse/pockets and leaves the stuff in a small pile instead of throwing it away or putting it away

ALWAYS loses the cap to the toothpaste

He is SO SLOW. He takes half an hour to get in bed, 10 minutes to brush his teeth, half an hour to shower. The man even shits slowly.

#2 is related and because of his slowness, we are late to everything! Some times I want to tear my hair out and scream. The worst part is that if I do nag, he hurries up incredibly. I think he just likes being nagged. fml

My husband often asks me to carry his things in my purse, but it doesn't bother me.

He is a pianist by hobby, and often when we're talking his fingers are playing. Sometimes I lean over and lay my hand over his to quiet his fingers. I'm hyper and have a hard time focusing so when he does that it is very distracting (I can't talk with the tv on either).

#3!!!! Yes!!! Just because it isn't IN THE SINK doesn't mean its clean...

Cannot put his socks in the hamper for love or money.

Always, without fail, leaves his electric toothbrush on the side of the sink, instead of back on its charger.

My DH does the purse thing (as does my DS) but they never make fun of my big purse. He has gotten much better about not leaving dirty clothes and dishes around but I still collect stray items around the house at night.

OMG I have #'s 1,3,4 & 5 too!!!

But I know I am a pain in the ass too so I cannot be too angry

Reading a few recent threads about the things that drive some spouses crazy (insincere apologies, baby talk etc...) got me thinking. What are some of the little things that your spouse does that drive you crazy?

For me:

1. Forgets about the load of laundry he put in the washer - it's like he forgets they need to go into the dryer! (grateful he does laundry though)
2. Always asks me to put his things in my purse, but jokes about me carrying a big purse
3. Does the dishes, but doesn't think the pots and pans on the stove qualify (again, I'm lucky he tries)
4. Firmly believes the bar of soap in the shower is self cleaning and applies it directly to his "junk" and crack.
5. Leaves cups throughout the house - instead of looking for his coffee cup he just fills up a new one

Love the man to death, but sometimes he can drive me insane!
